Effect processor's with Dual outputs

Post by Mesa/Kramer »

Looking for an effects processor that has the ability to be programmed to run any overdrive/Distortion pedal sounds into the front of the amp and any time based effects in the same patch sent to a secondary output that can run into the amps effects loop.

I know that there are some out there but am not seeing this mentioned amongst most of the top processors descriptions.

Is this Dual output ability called something?

It's called the 4 cable method.

There are ton of units that offer it. TC G-System, Boss GT8/10/100, Digitech RP1000, Line 6 M13/HD500 etc etc

If I understood the question correctly.

Well, the only one I've tried is the M13, and honestly I don't think it sounds all that great. There are loads of different effects and the functionality is awesome, totally brilliant. But the actual sound is a bit flat and uninspiring.

I have owned and sold the m9, nova system, RP1000. Now I have and love the gsp1101. Digitech stuff just makes the most sense and sounds the best for me.

RP Floor pedal GSP rack
RP one chip GSP two, for reverb tails for example
RP wall wart GSP Internal
Same chips in both
Other subleties.... Looper, midi Etc...

RP cheaper!

I have the RP, it's powerful, and I'm sick of lugging a rack...

i liked it, i just like the gsp more. same platform, same sounds. i sold the rp to get the gsp. if you are already using rack gear it just makes more sense but they both sound great.
