Snowstorm wrote:I gotta be honest, I didn't see anything that I was really excited about. No new amps really. Orange looked like they had some nice new amps but I'm not interested in them. Fender didn't really seem to come out with shit besides some pawn shop mustangs. PRS came out with a new Custom 22 which I would fucking love to have but no way can I afford one. I think it would be sweet if they make a SE Custom 22. Anything interest you guys from NAMM?

Edit: Holy "I didn't know the pic would come out that big" batman. Put in a smaller one.
One of these have been my dream amp since I first played it. Have always been more of a combo guy so this is perfect for me. Seriously thinking about using my tax return on one of these bad boys.

Fuck Washburn and that stupid expensive P4 reissue.
phrophus wrote:At top of my list is actually the Korg MS20. It won't be out till April, and I want some more reviews on it, but it seems like a cool, affordable analog synth.
Jet City flex amp seems pretty cool despite my initial reaction that it wasn't too cool. Three different preamps has changed my mind. I don't really have a need for it, but I did GAS for a second.

Well for one, I think they fucking could do a MUCH better job with the N4 line. I'm not the only one who feels this way too.
The N4 series started in the early to mid 90's and this NAMM, they're still trying to push another fucking relic'd N4 on us!!!
Good fucking luck trying to keep the guitar in tune when you wanna use the D-Tuna.
What in the fuck happened to the black, painted N4 that was supposed to be released? The one that Nuno used with Rihanna?
And those P4 reissues are 5K+ street. Gooby pls

Nope. And the Washburn website is a motherfucking joke too.
Come one dude, you and I both know that if Nuno were with any other guitar company, he would've had as many N4 models as Vai has Jem's.

They can't afford to lose Bettencourt, his guitars sells more than Paul Stanley's.
Besides, would he be able to bring the Stephen's Extended Cutaway feature to a new company?

Oh they won't lose Nuno. He's the most laid back endorsee I've ever seen. No sig pedals, no sig picks, no sig cables, no sig straps.
The NB King amps only came out 2 years ago and he's no longer with Dean Markley so no more sig strings too.
He's a creature of habit and his N4 is all he needs. Washburn is bloody lucky that he's not fussy like EVH.
Ibanez, for example, would've released at least 6-7 different finishes/colors of the N4 if Nuno were with them. He was using a black and white N4 while touring with Rihanna and any other company would've marketed them as new models. Not Washburn though.
Yeah you can bring up the exotic wood N4's but come on, at that price range and limited quantities, you can't consider them to be production N4's.
soundgardener75 wrote:Great point. ESP/LTD, Ibanez and Schecter would rake in big money if he ever came aboard any of those, and more choices/price options.
