I bought one years ago and I really like it, but I'm a knucklehead and my brain always defaults to SM57.
If you can't play good, play loud.

Oh for sure. My 57 is not going anywhere. It's a classic for a reason.
But the 57 has a sound, it's a great sound no doubt. The 906, once I positioned it where I wanted, just takes the amp sound in the room without coloring it.
It can color the sound depending on how you use it but it can also be incredibly transparent.

Yeah, my 57 is pretty much my Marshall mic.
