Almost to March and no new gear? Not even a pedal. WTF?

I'm looking at basses, but can't bring myself to buy one yet. That'll probably end up being my one big purchase for music this year, if I ever give in to the urge.

Same here plus I sold off some stuff over the past two months: 3 amp heads, 1 combo amp, 2 preamps, 2 racks, 1 power amp and 4 pedals.

Coinky-dink. I sold off a bunch of pedlulz and an amp. Got a bunch more to go.

But I think I'm about out. The Marshlulz Shredmaster is up for preorder at the usual places. I'm in for one. No way I'm passing on the chance to have a fresh 8100 preamp sitting in my muzak room. According to my dude, next week sometime it should be here.

I technically have one, but I lent it to a friend about ten years ago and after that length of time? Well, he uses it more than I would.

I did have two, but sold them off during my purge thinking I'd replace the two with one better one, which never materialized. Thinking I've got some hunting to do at some point this year. I do have an idea for a new space-opera album, as an add-on for my books, but we'll see if I get ambitious enough to do both writing and music at the same time.

I've only bought strings and pickups so far, but I don't really count either of those because I basically change pickups as frequently as I change strings lol. Also, my Mesa cab should be here in 2 weeks, but I bought that last year, so also doesn't count lol.

I purchased another guitar body and sent the first one off for paint today. Here's what gets me. I've been squirreling away money each pay check to cover the costs of building this first guitar and my wife was shocked when I told her that $600 bucks is the quote I was given to seal, paint, and finish the body. In the grand scheme of things, this money isn't missed and it hasn't impacted bills, food, or entertainment. Just baffling. I guess she'll be in for a real sticker shock that a custom neck is running around $900. Oh well, at least I'll have my swirl guitar :D

Officially out. Since I have an abundance of free-time (LOLOLOLOLOL) I decided to grab a project bass and went cheapo. Glarry 6er. Probably take a week to get here, another week to have time to give it the full setup, then I guess we'll see. If it's shit, I'm only out a hundo and probably have at least some salvageable parts for the next project. :idk:

I think I'm still technically in. I haven't purchased anything. I did get another Ultra Plus, but I traded my IIb for the Ultra and $500, so I technically sold stuff. Plus I sold my Nitrox last night. Maybe when I've sold everything I want to sell, I'll buy an Uber Ultra :idk:

I can't buy anything till I get off temporary disability and get back to work. NY disability only pays a max. of $170 a week before tax. Ain't no one living off that. This is the 5th month now. I go for my next PET scan in about two weeks to see if the cancer is gone. It's a good thing I saved a cushion of cash before this otherwise it would have been a big problem. If all goes well, I'll be back to buying more I'm sure.

I’m out. I just ordered a KRK Rokit 8, and may be selling my Headrush FRFR-112 to finance a second.

There is a listing on my local Craigslist, a WTB for a gently used Headrush FRFR-112, which I happen to have. I sent a reply an hour and a half ago; hopefully, they get back to me tonight.

EDIT: Friday or Saturday. It’s happening.

Out... I made it three months though

Was missing the Engl PB module for my Syn30, on the way now.
Not my main sound, but makes me feel like in my old 90s thrash band.
