^Spot on. 80s pop in general had this innocent, melancholic vibe that some, 2Chainz-Nikki Minaj mashup or Taylor Swift yawnfest could never hope to achieve.

I still sing Big Country all the time around the house. It pops in my head and off I go.
No shame in The Police. All amazing musicians. I saw them in Milwaukee back a few years ago on their reunion tour and it was a transcendent experience.
