Is this overly bassy? Kemper/Nazgul content.

Post by Benellerguitars »

Posted this video i just did around a bit, and it seems like about one of every 10 people tells me there is insane low end going on! I didn't add any extra bass to the mix or anything, i dunno…. and on my Grado headphones there isn't anything weird going on. Lemme know! Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzDtHFaKz8U

Yeah the palm mutes have this huge woof on them. But a high pass should fix that, I like the tone in general.

I think you can just high pass the guitars at 100Hz and change the audio to the video on youtube, no need to render and reupload afaik.

I am on bass lacking speakers right now so I'm not getting the low end beef - but man do those things sound killer! I am very close to pulling the trigger on a Nazgul/Sentient set for my 7.

Yup, much better from what I can hear. It's midnight here so I can't really get a proper volume listen without disturbing the neighbours though.

The tone you're getting across is good, but I just don't like it. That's a matter of personal preference though.

yeah honestly i'm not either. I'm not big into the boosted 5150 kinda tone, but it fit extremely well with the original audio! And the kids love it.
thanks for watching guys!!! And YES, i looooove this guitar. One of my favorites ever. I'll find some pics.
