New EVH guitars and amps and other cool new gear
Lots of new exciting gear coming in 2013 and the past
I am looking forward to trying EVH 5153 50 watt combos these will be great for guitarists who want to be a Rockstar in the bedroom without having to be super loud these amps already sound good at Low Volumes and these combo will do very well for people who want a Rockstar Sound at not much volume
I am also interested in the new EVH frankenstein guitars i love the white one with black stripes i have some converse shoes that look like this as well to match a the guitar with frankenstein EVH frankenstein guitar on stage these shoes are Cool looking but hard to put on and I get out of breath when i lean forward to put them on but they are Very cool but I wish the guitars came with a hardtail bridge option
EQD pedals are also has great ideas and excellent pedal and make many good sounds like EQD dispatch master that is reverb and delay in one pedal for studio quality sounding reverb and delay and Warm and Wet ambiance and conserves space on the pedalboard, this company has some amazing pedals for a good price
TC electronic toneprint pedals are very versatile and Changing the Game with the toneprint feature where you can download sounds created by famous guitarist like John Protucci and Pete Thorne and have their sound in a Box I wrote a letter to the people at TC that they should have more chorus-analog-delays for the flashback that aren't so overthetop and they thanked me and since then there have been many toneprints of analog modulated delays with subtle modulation
Axe FX is good sounds multiFX unit with more and more players like John Protucci who only use it for FX and new players on the sene like Misha Mansoor of Periphery who use it as their main Deal straight into the PA that CaveManic crazy awesome sound and Pete Thorn has gotten amazing sounds out of the Axe FX
The Kemper Profiling Amp is a big gamechanger allowing guitarists to create profiles of their favorite amp tones to be recalled with very good accuracy to be a Rockstar in the bedroom or onstage very good portable unit for great tone and ability to capture an amps sound
Today is a very good age to be in for guitarists technology and gear has come a long way to a golden age for guitarist where we are able to get studio sounds on stage for a decent price and i am looking forward to playing on lots of new gear

Re: New EVH guitars and amps and other cool new gear
Yeah I am a big fan of the EQD pedals. Every single one I've tried sounded amazing. I have been keeping my effects to a minimum but I will definitely add some EQD effects to my board once I decide to use effects again.
The toneprints are hit or miss IMHO. I really liked the Corona Chorus and their Ambient Reverb (forgot the name). The Flashback delay I could take it or leave it. They're not bad, but nothing special either IMHO.

I heard over at The Open Jam that you'd moved Mapz to a new site and are now the rightful King of Mapz.

This reads like one of those spammy SEO blogs. Are you a human? Are you secretly working for the companies above? DAMMIT, TELL US WHO SENT YOU!

Nice to see digital guitar gear finally reaching maturity though. I'd like to think one day, guitar players will take a Kemper to gigs and ask if they can 'borrow your tone'.

I have the head 5150 III 50 watt, it is stupid loud. If you can get it up beyond 3 w/o the neighbors calling the cops & trying to kill you before the law dogs get there, you live in a county with 1 person in it. I run mine through my THD Hot Plate to get above 1.
That said, the red channel sounds great @ all levels--straight or Hot Plate-ed. I will say this, the shared 1/2 channel is still leaving me a little cold. Can't get a great clean and still have a great crunch running straight into her.
I am wondering if I should've gone with the Tweaker 88.

I have tried EVH 5150 100 watt and found it to be Very nice at low volumes and good clean sound these amps are very good quality and versatile good quality midrange rock and metal tones and even rough country tones and take boosts and effects loop every good also looking forward to trying a
It will be interesting to see how if otter amp company incorporate power scaling and if EVH is taking the right Approach to the lower wattage amp Deal it is possible that the new digital modelling products are causing a golden age for tube amps also I forgot to mention jet city making great and innovative amps for a good price versatile to be bedroom rockstar and stage rockstar in the same amp

I'm pretty interested in the EVH super strats.... I want to see the specs on them though because if they have the same neck shape of the Wolfgang they are not for me at all...
