FS/FT Ibanez RG920QMZ and Fender Strat in Graffiti Yellow

Post by ibenhad »

Ibanez -

Like new with gig bag Ibanez RG920QMZ in Red Desert finish. This thing as far as I can tell and I am pretty anal is a 9.9 out of 10. Looking for $750

This is just not my cup of tea as I really don't dig strats especially with rosewood finger boards. This thing is supposedly pretty rare. I hate when people say that but this may actually be. It is an early model with tons more info here :

From the site - "This is a 1987 Graffiti Yellow. This one is rare as it has the Rosewood fretboard as it seems most of these had Maple necks.. (I also have a 1991 one of these posted farther down on this page with a Maple neck). PLEASE NOTE: The standard Plus usually came with 3 Gold Lace Sensor pickups. These pickups were designed to give a 50's single coil sound, with a lot of chime and even bell like tones. Crisp, and quiet, they really do perform like a 1950's pickup, but with no hum!"

Here is a pic my buddy has on his site. Notice it has no roller nut?

Overall for me I would say a 7.5 out of ten maybe. It does have a good ding in the top about the size of a dime. Comes with a Fender hard case not sure its the original. You be the judge I don't know much about the thing but it seems like it may be something semi collectible if your into that. Probably a great player too if you dig strats. It has the TBX control and as far as I can tell is all original. Hard to tell with strats as all parts (necks especially) are removable. Would like to get $1400 OBO....

Cash is king but may take reasonable trades. I have A LOT of gear so it would have to be very enticing. I like studio stuff too. Thanks for looking. :D
