What happened to framus amps?
I ran across a clip of a Dragon after not thinking about them for years. I loved the tones that people got from them even after hearing KSE 5 million times. Every channel sounded great.

Re: What happened to framus amps?
Framus no longer exists as a company. Warwick bought the name and they still makes some guitars under the Framus brand but that's it.
I doubt the amps will ever be produced again, and they're not easy to service if there are any issues so I wouldn't get one at this point unless the price was extremely low.

That's disappointing blackstar outlasted them.

Bummer.
I saw firehouse in 2005. Bill leverty played a dragon.
Best live tone I’ve EVER heard.

Yeah the mids were just in the right place with those. They weren’t a Swiss Army knife like some amps, but for hard rock and metal they were pretty exceptional.
