POD Go users - Massive Update

Post by rock flag and eagle »

I just saw an email about a large firmware update to the POD Go, adding the new cab engine, new cabs, new amps and new pedals. I guess I know what I'm doing when I get home.

That's cool. I liked the PodGo I had. That's the modeling sweet spot for me: $300-500 units that sound good.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Yeah used can be had for a price I'm comfortable spending and I think you get a really good bang for your buck. Not going to replace my tubes for live but at home, I reach for the Pod Go.
Had a little chance to play around with the new stuff, I really like the speaker engine and the new amps, They added a Yamaha RV-200 that I want to play around with some more and see how close I can get to the Gilmour Pulse tones.
