My wife has a Daisy Rock star shaped bass she loves it, and it's actually a good sounding bass.
I'm sure this guitar will be decent with a setup and maybe a pickup upgrade.. for $50 it would've been crazy not to buy it. Even $100-150 would've been fine.

Yeah the amp really isn't as bad as the internet says it is lol. I actually had the 30w version of it 20+ years ago. I'm going to convert the power cord to IEC and add a speaker jack so we can pump it through one of my 4x12s. Fun stuff.
