Yeah, this amp sounds fucking great, too! I ended up just now increasing the Depth control all the way up, and it made the low end a lot better, but I don't want to make another video and record this again lol...Audio is strat. Video is Koa V.

Sounds good to me!

James named that model Body Hammer as a nod to getting the Fear Factory Demanufacture sound.

Wasn't that a jcm800? I saw someone say it was. I could be completely wrong.

Sounds brutal! I think you should try a track with the Peters hard right, Mark VII hard left and see how they sound together.

I have tracks for both with the same mic position already, so I would just have to turn on the right ones.

Yeah, Dino's original amp was a modded JCM800 done by Metalhead Electronics.

Yeah, stolen in 1999 but he got it back a few years ago. Now he uses a Kemper profile of it.

Thanks Raf, I'm seriously considering this as I've been chasing that FF demanufacture/obsolete tone for ages.

I just listened to that FF song to see what the guitars sounded like. I don't really think this is doing that haha. The amp doesn't sound nearly as sharp and scooped. It's pretty mid forward with an even low end (maybe even I would prefer a little more). I guess the low end does sort of have the attack in the FF song, maybe. It's not super punchy the way the Mesa is. The Mesa punches super hard on the attack, and it probably my favorite thing about it. This doesn't do that. It's maybe closer to a 5150 in attack, but not nearly as huge. And the high end is not what I would consider aggressive, coming from 5150s for the last 15 years. Even the Mesa doesn't have that same level of aggression, but this is definitely even less. Not that either of those is a good thing or a bad thing, just a point of comparison to give you an idea of what to expect. I opened it up and the insides look so fucking clean it's ridiculous. Also looks like it would be easy to repair if it ever needed service, but I can't really see that happening. It's like art in there.

I think with the right boost and maybe an EQ in the loop it could do that kinda tone. I probably should get an EQ lol. You can see, though, how the Grid Slammer affects it. And the GS is like a TS sort of but it can push less gain than any TS I've had, which works really great for me since I don't really like boosts. But this definitely is more my kind of thing because it doesn't have to be SO much boost. I had the gain all the way down, so you can definitely get more aggressive on that side of things.

But I would also like to scoop the mids a bit more than this. This is mids all the way down haha. MOAR SCOOP!!

Also, here is the Mesa left, Peters right clip.

But really what I would probably do is Mesa on both sides, Peters in the middle a little bit lower.

I think it's the GAS kicking in, my friends and bandmates say my 5150 III stealth 100 is copping that tone and I can hear that now.

That's still a unique kick ass tone on the Peters though
