Stemroller - Free stem splitter

Looks interesting and is based on newer AI tech than a lot of the other stem splitters out there. I'm doing to dick around with this later on. It benefits from GPU processing if you have a beefy GPU!

Moises isn't perfect but certainly "good enough" for my uses

Yeah I've used Moises a bunch of times and it's been ok. Interested to see if this is better or not.

I have been using Moises recently for a few tracks I wanted to fix a mix on from over a decade ago where I no longer have access to the stems. I am giving StemRoller a go at it now. Fingers crossed. It seems to be taking a bit longer, but I am hoping that is because the results are cleaner.

There are definitely less chorus-y sounding artifacts with StemRoller. It's a cleaner capture.

Sweet. A lot of the YouTube videos I watched earlier commented that the outputs were cleaner.

I recently ripped stems for sepultura territory with Moises for a cover dick off so it'll be good to compare to that as it's a bit washy in places.

I wish all of the ai powered stem tools were able to dissect the rhythm guitars from the lead guitar parts, but I am sure we will get there eventually.

StemRoller just spit out blank tracks for the drums, bass, vocals, and the guitar was unchanged.

Yeah pretty much. It can't pull apart individual tracks, but it'll split drums/percussion, vox, bass and lump the guitars together as seperate outputs. It's super useful for making track to play along with or to isolate bits to work out how to play them.
