TLDNR - Taylor Swift bypasses the middleman (Disney, Paramount and Universal) and cuts a deal to distribute her movie directly to AMC Theaters.
"Up until recently, there was a sharp dividing line between movie studios and theaters: studios were not allowed to own movie theaters, due to a landmark antitrust decision in 1949. But this decision was overturned in 2020, which means that Disney could now theoretically launch a chain of Disney theaters, and an exhibitor like AMC can get into the distribution game."
I bet, Disney, Paramount and Universal lobbied to have the 1949 antitrust decision overturned and now, it's biting them in their keesters!!! LOL!!!

Taylor's music does nothing for me, but I do enjoy watching her poke and prod at the industry giants. Ticketbastard and Disney despise the girl. I'd drink a beer with her and shoot the shit, so long as she promised not to play me any of her music.
Unless she wants to bring Dwayne Johnson along to sing Shake it Off with. I'd be down for that duet.

Britney Spears though with Hit Me Baby One More Time, had a catchy pre-chorus and chorus. Definitely better than Poppa Don't Preach by Madonna.
