I haven't posted much ever since my creativity spree a few weeks ago. My Dad almost died in the emergency room two and a half weeks ago. He Lost 7 pints of blood. He flatlined. They had to do chest compressions. He ended up getting his colon removed after being intubated twice as they tried to figure out what was wrong. He is home now, but he doesn't seem the same. I feel bad for him. He went through a lot.

My son is emotionally disturbed. We are going to talk to the doctor this Thursday to see what can be done. He just can't cope with life. I don't like it. He had an epic meltdown last night. He doesn't respond to discipline. He is 7 years old. Intellect of a 10 year old, emotions of a 2 year old. I woke up with the worst headache of my life at 4 am this morning. I'm getting burned out and overwhelmed at work. I inherited my Dad's clients, and lost his assistant. So, I'm doing three jobs, and my clients that matter are getting the shaft because I'm overextended. Doesn't help that I was at the hospital for 12 days. I'm completely overwhelmed at the moment, but I will probably be okay. I just needed to vent to somebody.

Now to the song.

DOD METAL X FX70 - the OG step brother of the original grunge. Just awesome.
Marshall Shredmaster Reissue - VERY amp like. nice.
Meris LVX - used this for the pad like stuff in between the riffing sections.
Warmoth Tele Dlx - creamery WRHB
Gutierrez Juggernaut - Dimarzio X2N!
Dr. Z Mazerati 30th
JBL E120 - SM7B

Thanks a lot, dudes. I really appreciate it.

Fwiw, i was afraid i was overcooking this in production. The daw kept looking more and more complex. I guess it ended up pretty cohesive.

Sorry to hear everything that happened man. Definitely not an easy time by any means.

The song sounds great. I hear some Type O vibes in the heavier drone riffs. Which is great and a compliment.

All that sucks Geno, much apology. Need something or just want to talk let me know. I mean it; there aren’t enough guys out there that take advantage of their friends for convos, and we all feel completely alone. You aren’t.

Song kicks ass. 4:00 or so on is wonderful. Love the solo lines.

Thanks a lot, dudes. Took the family camping yesterday. My son is like a different kid when he is outdoors. It was nice. I drank too much. My wife was a pretty good sport. I’m more mad at myself for getting too loaded.

Damn, sorry to hear about all the recent troubles. Hope you've got good supports and things start getting easier and better for you.

Song is damn good though, killer tones and vibe.

Thanks dudes. I really appreciate it. My son has had a couple of meltdowns since this. Luckily, we are going to the doctor tomorrow to see what our next step is. It's indescribably frustrating trying to reason with a child who is currently in another world. They can just scream and cry about nothing indefinitely. No amount of logic, support, love, discipline, or coddling will bring him out of it. It's killing us. I pray to Jesus we can find a solution of some sort.
