Going rate for a Mexi Strat these days?

Post by _ej_ »

My mom's neighbor just gave me a 1999 Mexi strat that was in his flooded basement. Little bit of surface rust but overall the guitar is fine. Mostly it just seems like it sat unplayed in a basement for the past decade. Just spent an hour cleaning it all up and it looks great. What is this guitar worth?

For an older model $400-500 sounds about right. A bit more for the current Player Series.

Some of those MIM’s are better than the MIA’s pop a set of nice pickups in for a killer beater.

I'm not gonna keep it. I have a rad strat I built and I want to buy some car parts

It is stamped with my 10th birthday on the neck pocket.

Here you go. There is some finished cracking but I think it looks rad.
