Just got a 2014 Pawn shop strat. Won this in a raffle from a luthier/youtube guy who is raising funds for a guitar museum over in England. This isn't something I would normally buy, but it's odd and fairly unique. Right now it has an Invader in the bridge and a house of tone tele sized strat pickup in the neck. The Invader is below the pickup ring, it's so weird lol. Already have a Fender Widerange waiting to go in the bridge, just need to get new pots, pickup ring and widen the cavity a bit. Might do a 4 way tele switch too. Should be pretty sweet when all is said and done.

I’m all about hardtails, that thing is sweet.

Kind of surprised with how hard you go you’re taking out the Invader.

Not gonna lie, its actually pretty good, its just so mismatched in output and overall vibe. This guitar is screaming for something a little bit different. I also need to have an 18 month backlog on gear projects, otherwise I wouldn't feel complete lol

Absolutely on board with throwing a WRHB in there, I'd play the hell out of that.

Thanks guys this thing is pretty sweet. The neck pickup is awesome. Dev, yup its Ben from Crimson Guitars. Love that channel too. He's the reason I started building guitars again after a couple of failed attempts years ago. There is a custom shop Strat up right now. Very tempting, but I think I may have used up my good luck.
