paging mr lasagna (DSL content)

Post by primeholy »

Is there a way to have a good clean tone and three dirty tones, or should I just set both classic channel settings clean? I havent used this amp much, but it sounds pretty good.

Hahaha it's awesome that you remember the lasagna story .

Assuming you're talking about the DSL100H or the JCM2000 (not the HR), there's really no way to set up 3 sounds. What I do is set the green channel for cleans, set the red channel for a crunch (with the gain set between 2 and 4 on lead 1 mode) then boost for solos with a SD1 or TS9.

I know the new HR version has all these new modes that can be programmed etc but I haven't spent enough time with it.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Thanks. I have the HR. I will probs have to set up green for cleans and the red for two different crunch/od

Ok but on the 210 you have foot switchable access to 6 different gain levels :cop:

Sounds like your dsl has similar options tho

Yeah I'd do green clean. OD1 crunch and OD2 for leads with the 2nd master volume for a volume boost.

Did that involve barfing on a woman's lap or am I thinking of another story?

different story. I put it in the fridge with a sign saying "no" and my son stole it anyway.
