Ghost Pepper Whopper

Post by spawnofthesith »

It’s actually pretty fuckin dank

About as spicy as something can be from a fast food place (ie not at all). Still a gentle tingle in the mouth after bites

I ate one for the second day in a row today

No more rectal bleeding than the usual detected

Guess I'll be going to BK this week.

I still miss the Angry Whopper. I worked at BK when that came out back in the day. Just a stellar sandwich

Angry Whopper was very dependent on the store. I had them that were good, and had them that were flavorless nothing.

Not sure if serious when I see ghost pepper and any fast food place. Remember the Ghost Chicken at Taco John's? Barely registered as hot. Good flavor though, at least they had that.

You ate at a place called Taco Johns? Tell me you're from the midwest without actually telling me you're from the midwest.

LOL.

Just had a conversation with people not from around here a few days ago about casseroles. I went into vague descriptions of tater tots baked on top of noodles with tuna and cream of something soup. Or mac&cheese with fried, cut-up hot dogs, baked, with chips or onion strings over it.

I had half a dozen or more come back like I must be out of my mind, while several more chirped in saying, "No, he's pretty much right."

Us midwesterners are fucked up individuals, but we know how to eat.

We know how to eat garbage. Fried potatoes with sliced fried hot dogs. Diced potatoes with cream of mushroom soup and a pound of hamburger in the crockpot.

The Angry Whopper should be a permanent menu item. I would eat one every week!

There is a reason we get referred to as "corn fed beef" by other parts of the country.

Three Whoppers of any type in a week sounds like death to me.

I had an old-man rant about when me and my best-bud in high school would go out in the evening, hit Taco Bell (Nachos Bellgrande & Burrito Supreme), Burger King (Double Whopper/cheese, large fries) and Subway (footlong, natch) all in about four hours or so, then hit a movie with theater nachos and popcorn, and a slushie, of course.

It's a wonder we survived to our twenties.

Three whoppers - all with varying levels of dankness - is a quality control problem. It's Burger King, so that sounds right...

I'm not going to lie, varying levels of stonedness were involved

But to BKs credit, even at a baseline of "not stoned at all" it was still dank

I came so close to having one again today, but I showed restraint. The BK next to my work does not help things

My curiosity finally got the better of me. Wish me luck fellas, I'm goin' in.

How can you afford three or more of these in a week? It's like $12 for one and a small fries. WTF?

Fast food prices are truly outrageous these days. I just get the burger, I don't drink soda without alcohol in it and I don't care for BKs fries.

My usual vice at BK is a couple bacon cheeseburger, no pickle add mayo. Those are still only $2

I'm thinking I may skip the fries if I ever go back there. They used to be good. Now? Nope.

I survived the sandwich. Remains to be seen if I survive the afternoon. Thus far no bigs, but I do tend to pour hot sauce on everything these days.

I thought the flavor was fairly good for a fast food burger. No tears though, so if they're using ghost peppers, it's very suspiciously un-ghosty.

Pronouncement: Gimmick for the season. Mild disappoint, as you can't expect much else from a fast food joint.
