The amp is a Ceriatone build (not a kit). The mod was done by Carl Esparza (aka Fusionbear in the forums) who is well known for high quality mods and builds.
He made the following mods to this amp:
Copied the drive channel of the JEL signature Friedman. This mod was done per the Headfirst amp instructions, which was verified by Friedman as being correct (Jason from Headfirst is a close friend of Dave).
Added a second master volume for a solo boost.
Added a negative feedback mod.

This amp does NOT have an effects loop but I bought a nanotube driven effects loop and I will send along with amp with the installation instructions. The loop is made by Saul Corral in Los Angeles, who is an engineer for Rode Mics. Here's some details about the loop:
Finally the amp is mounted on an early 70's Marshall headshell (but I can mount it on a 18w style headshell free of charge if you want me to).
