Little Wing thumb voicing
Anyone else struggle to play this using your thumb for the bass notes? I really don't have small hands but I guess they're not that big either. Any workarounds?
Re: Little Wing thumb voicing
I've seen people use a thumb capo to get around that.
Re: Little Wing thumb voicing
Maybe it's the particular neck you're trying to play this one? Or do you have trouble with it regardless of the guitar?

Are you serious? I couldn’t find anything like that.

It’s a JB sig strat, I don’t think the neck is that big, maybe I need one of those tiny Ibanez guitars lol.

Jimi had crazy long fingers. It was easy for him to fret with his thumb. Watch some vids closely and you will see at times that he is fretting the E and A together for a perfect fourth.

Yeah, it was awhile back from some reader comment in Guitar World back in the 90's. I bet someone just modified a capo.
