First band in a while to blow my skirt up BRUTUS
Beau Burchell from Saosin posted these guys on his Instagram. They're post rock, 3 piece, female drummer/singer. It's like cranberries meets punk meets explosions in the sky. If not a god damned thing else, it's different. She's a very emotive singer and this is straight sad people music but I'm a sucker for it

Hell yeah man, Brutus kicks ass. Nest is a killer record.
If you like them maybe check out Messa too. They're an Italian band, different sound, more doomy and bluesy than Brutus' post-hardcore thing but another band that comes heavy with a killer female vocalist.
