WTB: Seymour Duncan DDJ

Post by K-Bizzle »

I had one of these (bought from end time I think?) years ago and would like to try one again in one of my guitars.
Foolishly sold it so taking the long shot that someone here might have one. Condition doesn't really matter as long as it works, my last one was beat to shit.
Hell maybe I sold it to one of you guys, if so please sell it back.

Good luck man. My 83 Charvel has an old DDJ in it (pretty sure it came stock given how old it looks) and that pickup rules. Never taking that one out.

Thanks, yeah I sold it for like standard DD price too.
At this point any pickups I swap I'll probably keep what I removed as a just in case for the future.
I'm really sick of buying Duncan Customs and 59s at this point.

I've always wanted to try a DDJ. One of my favorite SD combinations in my Les Pauls/Explorers was a DD in the bridge and Full Shred in the neck. I can only imagine a DDJ sounding way better.

That prolly was me. I bought 2 at that time and that’s why I let that go. Think I was bidding on one and saw another, and hit buy it now AND won the auction. Either way, hate to be that “older was better” but in the case of the Distortikn there does seem to be sumthin going on with the older versions that do sound better to me

Good luck
