Soprano Sax

Post by Ry Manchu »

On the 4th of July, the band that I watched had a member with a Roland AE-10 wind instrument. This is set up like a soprano sax, but can produce the sounds of alto, tenor and baritone sax, as well as clarinet, flute, oboe and trumpet. I've decided that I want to learn how to play soprano sax on one of these. I have two questions. I'm leaning towards the Roland AE-05, but Yamaha and Akai also make midi wind instruments. Does anyone have any experience with any of these? Also, where can I take some online soprano sax lessons? The more regimented and the more content the better.
