Does anyone know where to find v2 triaxis schematics?

Post by guidedbyechoes »

My buddy and I are planning to undo the phat mod and replace some caps since my triaxis sounds muddy and fuzzy on every channel including the clean sometimes. I've read that they remove some components to make it sounds fatter. I want to tighten it up as much as possible. The bad caps are causing most of the issues.

Just saw that I never responded but it leads to broken links. From my research I need to replace the LDRs to get it into working order again. Those are no longer made.

I would suggest reaching out to this company:

https://jtamps.com/

The owner John was the service tech for Mesa in Los Angeles for 25 years. Maybe he would be able to give you some advice (for a fee) to get this done without having to send the preamp out.
Guitars:
'78 Les Paul Pro / '89 SG Special/ '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic 3 pickup / Jackson Star/ Endres Tele / Fernandes Rhoads/ ''74 Hohner MIJ strat/ 2 Partscasters

Amps:
Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.
