New build
I wanted to build a guitar for an old friend and bandmate, and he said he'd love something resembling a Firebird.
The body blank started as 2 pieces of swamp ash, and for the riser in the center I added a piece of somewhat curly maple. Neck is maple/ebony.

That color is magnificent! Looks like oxblood... what color did you use?
