Just finished a mix last night

Post by _ej_ »

First pass but I'm really happy with it. I've got a few minor tweaks I need to make (specifically the vocals in the bridge need adjustment) but overall I think its solid.

Guitars are all Helix, bass is a Sans Amp, drums are real. The synth in the beginning and the vocals in the verse are also Helix

Let me know what you guys think. I ran it through LANDR real quick to make it louder so the master isn't final by any means.

Colonel, Fryette Deathsquad

Guitars:
Endres Offset
Endres Offset Les Paul
Endres Telebird
2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded
1978 Greco ES335
Balaguer Goliath Bass

Amplification:
VHT/Fryette Pittbull 50/CL
Marshall JCM900 2500
Vox AC30
Ashdown MAG420

Nice song, well recorded, & great mix. Punchy & nice to listen to. KILLER JOB man! :thu:

I think the only thing that grabbed me oddly were the vocals during the chorus, I think... "poison of the soul -poison letting go" etc.
The vocals were VERY wide & distinct, I like the idea for that part, but I think Id make them SLIGHTLY less wide or distinct, or something.
