Hi, I'm starting on a new project. I'm at the stage of planing my slab. Couldn't find alder or cherry, so I settled with meranti. The body has been scaled down to fit my Fender Mustang. And the neck will most probably be made after I have gained the right knowledge to build one.
The next part I'm looking for is the tailpiece (inc. bridge) and I'm going for a blacktop style because I rarely use the tremolo. My question is; since I'm using a mustang neck, will the tailpiece I have my eye on (link below) cause the E strings to go off the neck?
