I feel my tone is a little mehh.. would a buffer help me at all? I've the following pedals :
Boss Super Feedbacker/Distortion DF2
Studio Electronics Wolftone Chaos
EHX Hazarai
EHX Superego
Line 6 m13
ZVex Wah Probe
Would a buffer even be worth it here...?

A buffer from T1M couldn't hurt, especially if you use long cables, only $40 too.
Gotta have some SOUL.
Re: Would a buffer even be worth it here...?
No, your Boss pedal already has a buffer, and your m13 can have the buffer enabled. To correct your tone, try listening to your set-up going straight into the amp first, maybe do some EQ. If you can't get a decent tone out of that the problem is probably with your amp or your guitar or a combination of the two.
If you're satisfied, add one pedal at a time and find the one that makes it sound bad. Like I said the M13 can be configured to be true bypass or not.

Does the buffer on the M13 only really apply to the send/return 4 cable method option, or am I totally missing something? I only ever use my fx pedals in front of amp.

Check this thread:

It talks about the DSP bypass setting and the noise gate on the M13. If you turn it on, it's on all the time vs only when at least one effect is engaged. I think it means your signal will always be converted to digital and back to analog whether you're using the M13 or not.

totally didn't think about the buffer on the boss pedal, and was unaware of the line6 thing. Have you tried running the setup minus the boss pedal? some people don't like the sound of their buffers.
Gotta have some SOUL.

I'm happy with the amp, it's a Tech 21 Trademark 60...
