Downloaded Reaper Update. Doing it right.

Reaper says on their site

"REAPER supports Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.

The Windows version also works well with WINE."

.....and then it all made sense.

I really like the layout of Version 5. Reaper is always on the up and up! Constantly updating, excellent function, and great aesthetics!

Reaper was a game changer for me. It's exactly what I need for the level I'm at.

I've used Reaper, Protools and Logic extensively. Reaper is just as good as any of the others.

This might be an odd question, but does anyone know if the update breaks track templates or presets?

Don't know about presets but my main track template was still working.

Wouldn't want to deal with wine. Wish they'd just port straight to linux.

I'm just glad they got rid of the mousewheel bullshit....I can't tell you how many times I hit it in the wrong place and then couldn't figure out why one track was 50% lower in volume than the other 7.... :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
