My new super rig is complete

Post by Dave »

Image

Straight up, it's ridiculous.

Tuner - surface - sun bender - carbon copy - Morley aby box :

Rig A: jubilee with pog2 and boss rc-3 in loop through 1960a with G12T75's

Rig B: orange or50 through ppc412c with v30's

Can choose either or both. Sounds gigantic. Other bands were stopping by because they were blown away.

I think you need am 8-10 ft speaker cable to spread that jcm800 from the 4x12.

I think the Marshall is actually louder than the orange :freak:

Anyway, I seemed to adjust to switching each rig on/off at the right times though I still need to practice ending the loop and transitioning to a new part without it being obvious.

This is awesome.

Thanks bros.

Our singer is a chick so I ended up using the Hammond like tone from the pog for most of the loops and then accent guitar work through the Orange. The or is definitely brighter than the Marshall and the v30's seem to be a great fit for this specific amp. I actually tried it through my beloved g12t75's and didn't care for it. Conversely I didn't care for any of the Marshalls through the orange cab.

Sonically the two rigs are kinda similar in tone despite being so different. Just thick articulate tone.

are you using the Marshall's internal speaker along with the cab or just the 4x12?

I guess that's a positive about my house getting flooded & remodeled. My living room & hall way had paneling (it was nice paneling. $120.00 a sheet back in '82) .

Before the flood, you coulda filmed a movie that took place in the 80's in there. Was a cadillac in it's day..but brass fixtures..paneling..wall paper... It never got updated lol.

After the flood, the entire house was gutted. New sub floors..new sheet rock, etc.
