NSMD!!! Got my BX8 Carbons in from Loop

Post by JerEvil »

Been needing new studio monitors for a good bit now. My BX5A's still work just fine but now pulling double duty with the Kemper I thought I'd go for something a little fuller.

Looked at a few speakers and with Loop's input I went with these guys.

Before the "Shoulda got the HS8's" comments come in, I was not spending that kind if coin. I was looking for a solid speaker in my price range.

Thanks man. So do I! I had a pair of Makie 8's a couple of years ago and I really liked them, but when I moved I went into a much smaller room for my music gear and the 8's were just too big. Now that I'm in a different recording space I figured what the heck. The other deciding factor of course was the Kemper. Why did something with a bit more output for when I'm doing my profiling and when I'm testing things out.
