Got my first 7 string and 8 string guitars today. Both Agiles. Both seem to play and feel pretty good. The 7 string has a grounding issue that I need to fix but I'm thinking about switching the pickups to SD Blackouts anyway.
You guys have any advance for a new extended string player.

I had that exact same 7 string. Great guitar, but it was the "yeah 7 strings really aren't for me" wake up moment. Yours have the Dimarzio Blazes in it?

I believe it has the stock pickups, Cepheus. They are surprisingly good. I'm surprised that these Korean guitar are pretty good all around

Man, they USED to come with dimarzios. All of Rondo's nicer guitars did until some DiMarzio rep opened his mouth about how they weren't worthy of using their pickups.

Does Sweetwater sell any 8-string pickups? I don't think I saw any on the site.

I had a Ghostburst dual-humbucker Intrepid for over a year....I personally thought the bridge pickup was kinda bland. I always suspected it was more due to how far from the bridge they spaced it, but I dunno, never tried swapping it.
I tried hard to bond with it but never could; it was crazy heavy and just too damn huge for me. I've since sold it and my 7 and decided that 6 is all I need.

I can get you anything you want from Seymour Duncan/Dimarzio/EMG
I'd do D-Activator 8s... Bone dry, clear, nice top end, articulate without being scratchy.
Hit me up at work, not here, and we'll chat.

Mine actually seems light even with the bigger neck. I guess ash is lighter than other woods or maybe I'm just used to Les Pauls, so the weight doesn't bother me

Not sure exactly how much this one was. I got both guitars is a trade. But if you go to rondomusic.com they have the different ones available and the price
