Cloudkicker

Post by ledvedder »

So, I was reading the Notkicker thread, and it got me interested in checking out Cloudkicker. First time I've ever heard of them/him (one of the reasons I love browsing this forum). After checking out some stuff online, I realize he has a ton of music. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend where to start?

I'm a fan of the older stuff cause it's heavier... more post metal. The newer stuff is more post rock. It's all good though. He just came out with a new EP last week and it's up on his bandcamp and Spotify.

The Live with Intronaut album is actually my favorite but like i said, i'm a fan of the older, harder stuff like The Discovery and Beacons.

His real early stuff is pretty Djent ish too... Before that was even being used as a genre name lol

Can't go wrong with any of his stuff though. Let yourself be huge is probably his most mellow release, the discovery, portmanteau, or this map is not the territory are the heaviest
