Recording my AC30

Post by Jaywan85 »

Hi, so I have been doing some research on this and I wanted to check this is possible before I started buying stuff.

Due to noise issues I can't record my ac30 in my home studio. It's an AC30hw2x combo and I love it.

Am I correct in thinking I could remove the speaker cable going from the amp to the speakers and put in a THD Hot Plate. I could then set that on the "Load" setting, go from the Hot Plate into a H&K redbox and then straight into my desk for silent recording?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

thanks

When you say "due to noise issues", are you saying that it would be too loud? Or literally noise?

i'd just use sims.. grab amplitube and call it done and use your amp for live playing. you have a way loud amp, and it won't record super well if you cripple it.
