Only half way through, but all I have to say is fuck. Yes.
I was a little disappointed with their previous release, and based on this it sounds like they're going back to their older style. Also, this is the best guitar tone they've had since dopethrone

Black Masses was ok, as in better than NO EW, but this.....oh yes.
Pretty much and I don't know if it's just me, but I've always felt like the tone on everything after dopethrone has just been anemic sounding in comparison, but this... sounds like they're bringing the super heavy again

In some ways I think EW ran into the same problems after Dopethrone lots of bands do after EPIC albums. I mean, how do you top it? How do you even equal it? So, you tweak stuff a bit and its not as good. Time goes by.....you can revisit the formula that brought destruction to ears and speakers worldwide.

I am SHOCKED that so many members here like doom. It is one of those genres I thought only a few people in a cave (hiding from the finger pointing world) like. It's not for me but I can appreciate it for what it is.

Over on HC, the doom room in HCFX was pretty epic. When we all migrated here a lot of the same dudes came along (sadly not all though, not nearly all *pours out a 40 on the sidewalk* ) bringing the love of doom.
Sadly, my area is pretty devoid of doom. I know there are those that like it, but as far as bands....pretty much nada.

All the hcfx doom room dudes went over to ilovefuzz it seems, there's a whole dedicated doom sub forum there
