this thread is gonna catch some hell here.

i love alt J. an awesome wave was an amazing album, listened to it heavily for like 6 months straight last year. met Joe at coachella briefly last year.

this september is exciting for hipster music. new solo Karen O, new my brightest diamond too.

the story is more detailed than that, as covered on one of our stations, but meh. it sounded cool until i knew it was her
more accurately, vc has an undying hatred for miley that borders on the unfathomable. ergo, when miley comes on, it bothers her so much that she begins to act on her surroundings, namely me. so miley makes my life hell by proxy.

I dug their first album, its nice to hear something different come out. With so many motherfuckers out there doing "me too" music (myself and probably everyone here included for the most part) its nice to actually hear something different.

joe was super cool by the way, sat and talked with us like were friends for a good 5 mins, and was like "alright, i best be on my way"...he was taking the stage in like 15 mins and still had to cross the festival grounds haha. it was weird talking to him and then seeing them that quickly.

only reason i even spoke with the guy (before he lifted his head and i recognized him) was he was wearing a sweet doom shirt and i complimented him on it.
