Hello, after much debate I purchased a new (Demo, with full warranty) JCA22H. Paid $299. It should be here in 3-4 days. Really looking forward to this. I have a Charvel Jackson Model 4 & a Les Paul, Government Series. I have a Fender Super Champ X2 with a Celestion G10", and a 112 Cab with a Vintage 30 which I plan to use with the JCA22H. Going to play around running in stereo, but mainly be running clean through the Fender and Crunch/Extra Crunch with the Jet City. I really enjoy 70's-80's rock and plan on using the JCA 80% of the time.

I have never made an amp or guitar purchase sight unseen, now I have bought a Les Paul & a Jet City amp on-line! I'm sure it's going to be fine, but a little nervous. Anyway I have already began modding the amp, before I even received it....got the Jet City nameplate to replace the 333...lol. Now I plan on playing through this for awhile before tinkering, but already know I will be installing a choke. I have read a little about the BE mod. Can someone tell me what is involved with this?

Welcome! Nice gear too! I am always worried about buying sight unseen but I did that with my SLP and I do not regret it at all.

I know Dave used to mod out the JCA amps to BE specs but I don't know if he does it anymore. Try contacting him about it and he's pretty good about getting back to in a timely fashion.
