Anyone GASing for a new GPU might want to give this a watch. AMD have really taken a big swing at NVIDIA and the SAM stuff is a massive performance boost.
Price war plz.

I got Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and the learning curve is steep but once you get the hang of the controls and get some Force powers its fun.

Well it’s actually a really short game. I could probably beat the entire game in a couple 5 hour sessions. With Destiny I learned how to maximize the grind. When Destiny first came out it was impossible to level up. These days its really easy if you know what you’re doing and you’ve got homies to carry you through high level stuff.

I also don’t have kids, so that helps!

I'm balls deep in assassin's creed Valhalla, right now. It's like the Witcher 3. Not exactly...but like it.

I’m the nerd that immediately joins the subbreddit for whatever game I’m currently playing. That way I’m aware of missable items, tips/tricks and bugs. I maximize the fuck out of my gaming. Though I havent gamed in months since Ghost of Tsushima. I either play my Welagen or watch Dumble vids on youtube and think about how to nail that sound with my amp.

Shea, I beat Death Stranding about a week or two ago. You were right. Definitely a masterpiece. I don’t know if it’s my favorite Kojima game (MGS4 is still a favorite for me) but it was damn good. I liked the twists thrown in and the story was pretty damn awesome overall. Definitely a cool and unique world.

Why didn't yall tell me about Horizon Zero Dawn? It's badass. Beat it this week.

I'm still loving the shit out of Cyberpunk, even though I'm playing it on the shittiest platform available (og xbox one)

Honestly besides random crashes and one bugged quest series (the hijacked Delamain taxi quests) i'm not having near the level of fail that most online articles of the game would have you believe.

The game is fun as fuck, even though it's a little too easy IMO

Also I highly recommend picking up the game Hades; it's fucking awesome

I was wrong about Cyberpunk. It was a massive disappointment for me.

I’m officially PC Master race now so I was thinking of playing it again with better graphics. Need to hunt down a RTX 3080. It’s like trying to find a PS5. Impossible.

Yeah, I need a new gpu to replace my 980. The AMD cards are pretty killer this gen too, although they ain't in stock either

Do many weird glitches but still super fun. Night City is incredibly detailed.

Update on this: It's frigging awesome. Seriously, if you play co-op with friends on steam you need this game. It gets intense. The devs are doing a lot of rapid fire beta updates/testing at the moment which is really improving an already fantastic experience. It'll be the best $14 you'll ever spend on an early access game and all other survival horror just seems totally lame now.

On another note, I need you guys to help me find a new game to play.

I prefer single player open world games. I'm a big fan of all the Borderlands games. I loved Ghost Recon Wildlands, but Breakpoint sucked giant sweaty balls. I really liked The Last Of Us 1 and 2. I enjoyed Far Cry 3 and 5, but hated 4. Found gameplay very clunky. Uncharted 4 was fun. Red Dead Redemption was great. I have RDR2 but I found the amount of cut-scenes to be ridiculous and lost interest. GTA5 was brilliant of course. Fallout 4 was also a favorite. I'm not a big fan of Just Cause.

Any suggestions?

Oh, I also like games like Mist & Riven, where you have to wander around and figure stuff out. I realize those games are old as fuck, but they were great.

I didn't play the DS games but I gave Bloodborne a shot; same guys.

The only game I've ever returned in 40+ years of gaming. I do it to relax, that game had me one second away from putting my foot thru my tv.

I'm a huge fan of all the Dark Souls. Its all about patterns and timing. If you keep at it it will click in. Fantastic games and super satisfying when you kill the bosses.
