Good luck. It comes in a case. But every single bottle is a different beer.
Well, that figures!

Good Oatmeal Stout from Portland
Surprisingly good Voodoo Ranger Atomic seasonal beer from New Belgium. Not a big fan of their beers, but their Voodoo Ranger has been pretty good. Wife picks good ones.

Re: Whats everyone drinking tonight?
wife ponied up for some glencairn glasses, these have to be the most pretentious things I own lol. This morning I am drinking Ranger Creek small barrel .36, I plan on buying some of the large barrel before I visit my friend who got me into this stuff, lately I've been trying some bourbons, so far I'm not really big on bourbons but I'm open to suggestions. Right now I have balcones baby blue (tastes like candy corn, which is awesome), old fav wild turkey 101, the ranger creek and bulliet (really like the bulliet and might have to keep some around). Not sure if I mentioned it, but a few weeks ago I tried some Green Spot, that is my new favorite irish whiskey, replacing redbreast 15. I want to do a direct comparison with the redbreast 12 though, but yeah, it's freaking awesome.

Re: Whats everyone drinking tonight?
bulliet is a high rye bourbon
my favorite of that type is 1792 Ridgemont Reserve
Can't go wrong with Woodford's
and Blanton's is my go to for special occasions.

I got woodford and angel's envy next on the list. Is normal Bulliet a high rye? I know they make a rye version of Bulliet but I don't know the differences other than the obvious. I'll have to check out some 1792

Re: Whats everyone drinking tonight?
normal bulleit is a high rye 'bourbon'
bourbon must be at least 51% corn - so a high rye bourbon can contain no more than 49% rye - usually way less.
Bulleit Rye would be mostly rye - more than 51% - so it can't be called bourbon

Balvenie Doublewood is a go to for Scotch, good stuff. I like it better than many of the high dollar ones. One of my favorites for mid priced Singles. I am having water this evening, Slow weekend.

Yeah.... really enjoyed the Balvenie, Dalmore still is my #1 but the Balvenie is a close 2nd. I want to try the 14 year old aged in Rum casks.

Re: Whats everyone drinking tonight?
After I take my test for class, I'm going to check my budget to see if I can pick up some macallan anything, so far wife and I are 2 for 2 with that brand (not that I expect anything else, it seems to be a classic go to for a lot of people). Otherwise, tonight is bourbon night, more ranger creek, wild turkey, and bulliet.

I have one, it's actually in the bar with the rest of the cocktail and whiskey glasses.... I'll probably grab another one or two eventually but no rush.... I'm the only one that uses it... when friends come over we don't sip my Scotch and discuss it's notes....we drink.... I just like to have it so I can fully appreciate a whiskey when I first try it...

my wife works the second shift til 11pm. sometimes she has to work later than that even til like 2 or 3 in the morning.
plenty enough time to sober up. she doesn't drink. too bad. a whole nutter level of shenanigans when one is over 50.
