Im sorry I never got a chance to get into them while they were together. This always happens to me anyway, I only get into stuff long after its over.

I was late to the party too. I only got to see their farewell shows live on Myspace. Thankfully they have a pretty substantial catalog along with three tons of footage on Youtube.

Like I mentioned earlier, if you get the chance to see Imperial State Electric, do it.

I've never heard it before. But I like.

Of course, if they were just reading names and numbers out of the phone book, it would still rock.

I've been revisting their catalogue since this thread started - talk about great two-guitar interplay.

"Rock & Roll is Dead" is easily one of my Top 5 all-time favorites. These guys REALLY need to get back together and save the world...

@nakedarab (quoted but code was whacky in quoting)
Is he back with Entombed? To Ride... is one of the most criminally overlooked metal albums EVER. That album defines the genre of death n' roll to me. The production is way too raw for my tastes; but it fits the style to a T.

FYI - Original Hellacopters' guitarist Dregen has a new self-titled solo disc out and it's pretty decent, IMO. Nick Andersson co-wrote three tunes and plays on it.

Awesome cover...I had never heard it before. I´ve always liked Nationalteatern(the original band) and those lyrics are really good(If you happen to know swedish ofcourse  ).

For some reason, I assumed he didn't use much in terms of effects. I'm going to have to listen closer.

Just because it's that kind of day.
