I haven't bought anything since my Crafter electric acoustic guitar last May. The following month I found out I had cancer and have been kind of busy dealing with that. Treatment is now over just have to recover from the brutal radiation and chemo. But maybe before the year is over I might get that itch to acquire more to add to the stock pile.

Hot.

I have a 7 string Iceman coming in a few weeks but I ordered it in October. Does that count as this year?

Did you pay for it in October? There's your answer.

Got my menatone mini hindenburg pedal. Here is my updated flyrig pedalboard. I will be trying it out tomorrow night at band practice. No idea with how the eq is on the sansamp got like that with treble knob so high. lol I don't even use that section when using in front of guitar amp.

I bought a donner reverb that sucks

Also just ordered some Behringer PM1s for the band... I think we've been overthinking our setup with this gerry rigged setup we have

I've been tossing cash in an envelope every week to go towards a PRS CE24 eventually ....

I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to back away from a drive pedal obsession. I have a cheap Rat clone coming and then I might take a breather. For an hour or two

Yeah. I thought I didn't buy anything. Then, Diocide sent me the pic of the enclosure he made for the King of Tone clone I asked him to build me

I made it through the entire month of January and I haven't bought so much as a guitar pick.

definitely me. Quit my job of 20 years in FL last August, moved to Lancaster VA and am still unemployed. Hated that job, it was frickin' killing me. Got good $ for the house, but can't justify new gear until I'm working again. The wife wouldn't appreciate me dipping into the new house funds like that.

Picking up gigs in Richmond and surrounding area lately, so hopefully that will be the income going forward.

Definitely me as well. Pretty sure the last thing I bought was a Blackmore strat in December 2021. This year is about selling. So far, got rid of a power amp, preamp, rack, combo amp, and 3 pedlolz. Planning on two more trips to Guitar Center in February to unload some more.

Been thinking about a SunFace for years now but am afraid I won’t hear much difference between it and my Dunlop JH FuzzFace, so I’ve been good at putting it off.

One month has passed and so far so good.

I made it a month. I have no plans for more guitar gear, but I have a bunch of PA and utility upgrades this year so I wasn’t going to make it very far.

Side note - now that I have it, I regret taking so long to make this purchase. I kept putting it off because it’s a lot of money to replace a cheap cable, but man is not having that cable attached to me ever nice.

Bought a $19 stereo widener plugin - it was on sale. Nomad Factory makes some nice stuff.
Like Pablo said, "We don't buy plugins because we need them; we buy plugins because they're on sale!"
