Been playing the Mega Man Zero collection since I was in New Buffalo. Would be playing my PS5 but no power. And I just put a new M2 SSD in there to add 2 TB. The SeaGate FireCuda. Shit slaps.

Fuck me. Why did I buy 2 souls-esque games? AC6 is hard as fuck. Remnant 2 is hard, too. GOD DAMN IT! I DONT WANT TO SPEND KY SATURDAY SCREAMING IN MY BASEMENT! Yet...here I am.

AC6 rules. Looks fantastic and runs smooth.

Im playing with a controller and I feel like I could use a few more buttons but I hate playing fast paced games with mouse and keyboard.

Some of these boss fights are fucked. It takes a bunch of rounds to find a build and strategy that works and then a ton more to execute. I think they could have ramped a little slower, that chapter 1 boss is an absurd jump on difficulty but it's a fun fight.

Overall solid 8/10. Loving it.

I just got to Juggernaut this morning before work; once buddy took off I was having a hell of a time gaining access to it's backside lol

Yeah I had to buy a whole new frame and do a light/fast build for that fight. Do the all the trainings and you'll get some of the parts that will help.

The real challenge comes at the end of the chapter. Buckle up boys.

Played about an hour of Starfield this morning before work - basically seems like Fallout in space so far which is what I expected. I think it's gonna be fun though

Started getting audio dropouts and random unresponsiveness within 5 minutes of starting it of course :lol:

Edit: SSD was listed as a requirement and I think I installed it on my mech drive without paying attention; gonna move it over and see if that fixes the issues

Edit again: it did fix all the issues I was having

Fired up the old Dreamcast and played Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm for a bit. Really made me remember why I hated Die by the Sword on the PC.

I haven't played any of the others, except for a brief try of ds2 on pc, which played jankily as it was a shitty port. Apparently that was fixed in the scholar of the first sin version. Next up I'll get the dlc and then start grinding for 100% I think.

I put like 30 hours in to Starfield over the long weekend :facepalm:

It's good - nothing groundbreaking or mindblowing but if you like the Fallout games you should dig it. I'm having fun with it

Only had one bug pop up so far where the cursor for my starmap disappeared making it impossible to select destinations - quitting the game and relaunching fixed it

The DS3 DLCs are so good

I gotta go with Elden Ring as my fave soulsy game though; so stoked for the ER DLC

You guys got he to pick back up DS3. In the last week I got past the Abyss Watchers, took out Aldrich and am at Yhorm. Once I off Yhorm I may start the Ashes of Ariandel DLC. I’m loving this one. I loved Elden Ring too but I’m feeling the slightly smaller focus of DS3 works for me. The game is beautiful still. If I get this done before October imma start another Bloodborne playthrough. That one is still my favorite.

As soon as I finish that I'm gonna jump back on AC6 and finish that up

A little over 40 hours; prolly like 42ish

I don't think the game is bad by any means but I just found myself not really having fun or being interested in it. Time will tell if I pick it back up and finish it

New build-ish. Kinda cheated a little. I had a character I started right before Elden Ring came out. I got to the Abyss Watchers and died a lot. Then Elden Ring came out and that was all I played. So much I didn’t want to touch a souls game for a while. Like over a year. So now I decided “hey let’s play DS3 for real.” My build was solid and I went back in, Got Gud enough to beat the Abyss Watchers and it’s been flying since. I took out Yhorm today and the Dancer. I’m right at the Dragonslayer Armor fight. Fuck the red eye knights with holy great swords. Especially if they have a cleric to heal them. But yeah, I’m loving it. Looking forward to hitting the first DLC soon.

Those knights are dicks. I'd my best to kite them away from the clerics then try and parry them. When I was doing the boss I'd just run past them. Which reminds me that the boss run to Champion Grundyr can suck my ass :lol:
