Re: What video games are you playing?
I started playing Elder Scrolls online for times I get frustrated or burned out from Elden Ring. My god, that game is too easy compared to Elden Ring.

I'm playing Sniper Elite 4 right now, pretty awesome game. According to their website, 5 is coming out in May.
I finished Arkham Knight a few months ago and that game was awesome. Played Arkham Asylum a many years back on PS3 but never picked up Arkham City, that is the one I'm missing

I'm well back into playing pubg again. Nothing else quite scratches that particular itch.

Re: What video games are you playing?
Bumping this old thread. I’m back on the Destiny 2 wagon. I fell off it a couple times. I played a fuck ton of Destiny 1. When 2 dropped so many things felt like a step backward. I also got married at that time and did the newly wed stuff, had my band and was actively trying to have a kid. So about a year or two ago I tried it again when gamepass had it on Xbone. Liked it, did some campaign stuff in forsaken but didn’t do much. Let it lapse. Got the idea to play again and saw they were doing cross save and cross play now. Got my save from XBone transferred to my PS5 and it’s been a huge upgrade. Everything in the game is where I want it to be now, I grabbed a bunch of the old expansions during Black Friday and have been playing catch up in PVE. Also, Gambit is the shit and I love it. The seasonal stuff is great too. I got my best friend back in and we play together at least once a week or so now. Not trying to get too deep back into the raids yet (I know we will soon enough and I want to do Kingsfall one again since they put it in D2).
But overall we’re having fun again. Ran into one of our old clan mates online and played with them too. Doing some exotic quests here and there and have a bunch of content to play through.

I bought a steam deck, so I've mainly been playing on that. Replayed dead space 2 a bunch of times and stray, which is a very charming game.

Re: What video games are you playing?
Finished God of War Ragnarok a few weeks ago and started Returnal - I've been meaning to get Returnal ever since I first got my PS5 but kept putting it off for some reason
That was a big fucking mistake; the game is a masterpiece and probably my fave PS5 exclusive so far
I finished all the main content yet I'm still pretty hooked on it; trying to unlock all the items and weapon traits etc.

The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. Never played it before. The graphics and mechanics are a bit rough, but something is pulling me in. If I dig it enough, maybe I’ll get Elden Ring
Finished GOW Ragnarok recently. Still have some berzerkers and remnants to clear out.

Daughter and I wrapped up It Takes Two on the PS5 and now I'm onto Pentiment on the PC and she's playing Skyrim on her Switch.

My wife and I play it takes two, really really fun for us.
She’s not a gamer so I’m happy it’s usually easy enough for her.

I was considering Elden Ring but by all accounts it’s ridiculously difficult. I just want to play and look at shit not get frustrated and high blood pressure. So probably not.

Do it; it's fucking amazing
If you run a pure strength build and dual wield large/colossal weapons while wearing the claw talisman it makes the game incredibly easy - you can kill just about every boss in 10 hits or less with jumping L1 attacks using that build
It won the game of the year award for good reason IMO; easily my favorite of 2022
I've beaten it like 6 times so far

The world is huge, you do have to progress through the game to access it all, but early on, there's a good amount open and near the first big boss castle, there's a path outside the castle to get around him and access more of the map (Liurnia)

Played some rounds of Street Fighter V on PS4 last night against my daughter. She’s almost at the age where I stop taking it easy on her.
To date I’ve only lost 2 rounds against all my sons combined.

I’m replaying Majora’s Mask, but I recently preordered, played, and beat Bayonetta 3. Bayonetta 3 had a somewhat predictable ending, and it wasn’t as funny as the first two, but it was enjoyable, nonetheless.
Re: What video games are you playing?
Tarkov and CSGO, a little bit of PUBG at times, other than that though video games just aren't as fun as they used to be.

Playing God of War Ragnarok. About 12 hours in. Really enjoying this one so far. The new realms are gorgeous and even the ones you revisit look fantastic. Gameplay is mostly the same as the last one but it works for this style of game.

Re: What video games are you playing?
I've started playing Fallout 76 since it was included on this months Playstation Plus games. I knew it was bad when first released but have heard over the years they've improved it. I have actually been enjoying it, although I was playing last night and it was a little glitchy, don't know if it was the server or game as I didn't have issues all weekend until last night.
