I'll be honest I really enjoyed the first couple seasons but totally forgot about the show.
Even the songs were a lot of fun.

Only if you like awesome things. If you dislike awesome things with massive piles of in-jokes of the HCAF variety, then you want to avoid at all costs.
Even for as weird as the meta opera (Doomstar Requiem) was, it was pretty awesome too. How they managed to fit a Michael Jackson tribute into a death metal opera is beyond me, but they did it.
Hopefully this means there's a chance to catch the band live again. I only got to see them twice and was really disappointed I couldn't make the stars align on their third tour.
