We caught a few moments of this a few weeks back-ish? It looked interesting then I dug up some reviews and it wasn't really getting any love. I'll have to add it to the queue.
Burned through Unsolved Mysteries reboot. Such a easy type of show to get sucked into without even trying. No Robert Stack but good nonetheless.
Watched Ju-On: Origins as well. Um; kind of liked it? Sort of confusing as it takes place with a couple of groups of characters over time who's paths intersect. I enjoyed the original and the (1st)remake. The 1st remake sequel was solid at the time as well and I actually didn't completely loathe that last reboot.

I think people who aren't too happy with it were expecting more of the same from the original series and its not really that...well... as yet... if I remember correctly the first season of Penny Dreadful didn't reallllly get too much in to the whole monster deal till the end.... I think if you look at it on it's own it was pretty good... a little slow but it came together at the end IMO, made me want a 2nd season to see where they could take it because there are a couple things they never really followed up on

That makes sense. I can see someone going "I thought this was show about monsters? WTF?"
Started "The Great," a supposed comedy about how Catherine the Great came to marry and eventually assume power in Russia. While there are some comedic elements, it's a brutal slugfest at first. So much so my wife has to rant about every five minutes so for each hour long episode it takes us about three hours to get through it.
We may not end up continuing that one. Pity, cause I am enjoying the story.

Stop before the last episode and you'll be fine. The last episode makes you realize the entire rest of the show was a bunch of utter bullshit. It was acceptable up to that point, though not exactly perfect.
Tried solar opposites. It’s alright, fairly meh. Just like a Lackluster rick and morty

S2 of Hanna was great! Really pays off on the premise set up in S1. The only weakness is the as for S1: Mirielle Enos. God, she is always so terrible. Why does she keep getting cast? Her emotional range makes Kristen Stewart look like Meryl Streep. It particular stark here since the young actresses all incredible.

I couldn't get through season 1..... just felt like a really drawn out version of the movie ....

I can see that. S2 moves more quickly and there is some fantastic fight choreography.
Still plowing through Lethal Weapon. Waiting to see how they handle Riggs character leaving. Dumb yet super enjoyable show. Still surprised I like it as much as I do.
Started Moone Boy on Hulu. Chris O'Dowd (IT Crowd, etc.) stars in and wrote it. He plays a kid's imaginary friend growing up in 90's Ireland. If you like coming of age stuff with borderline potty humor; watch this. Hilarious show. Can't say enough about it. Quick watch at 20ish mins an episode so it goes fast.
I'm giving Elementary a second watch.... I got in to the series in season 2 or 3 so the first season is at least fresh.... such a great series though... plus Lucy Liu...
Down to like ten episodes or so of Sopranos. Chris being a dipshit and Pauly being a fuckhead is starting to get on my nerves. I really, REALLY want Pauly to die horribly before it's over. MFPOMFS.
Tony picking a fight with Bobby would have completely sucked if Bobby didn't get the upper hand. And then Tony with the commentary the next day trying to justify why he's such a pussy was just hilaridumb. His wife telling him what a dumbass he was being almost made it worth it.
Am I wrong in thinking that cabin was the one used in the Avenger's movies where Tony hung out and they had his memorial? It sure looked the same.

Good call JT, I hadn't heard of that, but loved the it crowd, just checked it out and I'm gonna get on that! If you like Irish humour, you might like The Young Offenders.

Thanks Gary! I will add it to the list!

We watched like 5 minutes of this but got sidetracked. Heard some really good things about it and will circle back and watch it most likely.

Started The Witcher, not expecting much so far. Fight scenes are done well, but damn this plot is muddy as fuck.
I tried watching the Witcher but just couldn't get into it. Muddy as fuck is right.
I liked the Witcher, and we're watching it again as it happens, but the problem with it is that it jumps between different times without making that particularly clear. A friend told me that before I watched it so it wasn't a problem but if I didn't know that it would be a bit fucky for sure.
