I grew up listening to Zappa. He was deliciously weird - to the point that most of "society" didn't take him seriously. But he was also very intelligent and right about a lot of things. Interesting character in music history...

I highly recommend his movie, 200 Motels.... especially, if you have ever been in a band.

Never really been a huge fan of his music, but watching him eviscerate Congress during those censorship hearings made him an instant hero in my mind.
