Synyster Gates association and "hellwin" aside, that seems like a fucking badass amp feature-wise

I can't imagine needing any more low end than a 4x12 with Swamp Thangs can handle.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that Hellwin amp sounded pretty fucking awesome and was well-built. Likewise, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I puked if I saw it in person.

I dont think the cab is a bad idea, i play a bari sometimes and wouldnt mind getting the piano-ish lows back.

It really depends on how the crossover is set though

I dont necessarily think its that as much as some lowend clarity.

But if the sub is just tuned to like 30hz or something, thats pretty lame.

well, Jack Bruce and Billy Sheehan did put those big Dimarzios right by the neck- however, that's like, the total opposite of what this is "supposed" to do.
that's just stupid.

i would think though that would overdrive that pickup, tho? maybe not, he does EQ kinda into the high mids.
when i saw them live, he actually had a really nice bass tone. those custom EB/MM's through a nice GK rig and it was very present in the mix.
