I'm up to date on it.... it ramps up towards to the end... I'm really enjoying it.... looking forward to the finale next week

Yeah, that last episode brought some good shock value to the table. Not that you didn't see it coming, as they spelled it out pretty clearly, but to see it actually go down was  .

yeah once the ball starts rolling it doesn't really stop.... there are some straight up gruesome scenes in later episodes...

I agree with the others, don't give up on The Outsider yet. Watch the last episode suck now that I've said that.

Also, Better Call Saul was good this week. So far, this season is moving in the right direction. I really thought the old man was gonna kill Kim.

I figured she was gonna get shot when she went back. It was nice to see someone rip her apart instead of just watching her dour face at Jimmy's every move and then pout about it.

Seeing the agents was a nice nod to the history being developed her.

Drunken Mike was br00tz crew. Hilarious. Though his current self-destructive path isn't super fun to watch, it's cool he's still, even at his "worst," able to hold his own.

Seeing Saul actually start to become Saul is what we've all been waiting for. We're off to a good start this season.

yeah... I'm wondering if there will even be a season 2..... I never read the books so I'm not sure if there's more to the story or if that little teaser at the end was meant to just fuck with the audience... I'd be down for a Season 2

Outsider ended with some nice sinister vibes. Those cave scenes, wow. Great stuff.

Don't know if that story really lends itself to a season 2 or not. Though I could see some other phenomenon happening where they team up again to tackle it. I would hope he doesn't have to re-learn that not everything is clear-cut from the beginning if they do bring them back together.

I have heard mixed things about this. I think I am going to watch it anyway.

Been on a tear with Justified rewatch. Also started up latest season of Baskets. More serious, less funny. It's good but seems like they are trying to wrap it up maybe? Also started a show on Hulu about the (alleged) sun of the Zodiac. Hoping it doesn't turn out like that "My Great, Great Uncle is Jack the Ripper" show

So, guilty pleasure confession? I watch the Masked Singer. There've been some wild reveals over the last couple seasons, like Kelly Osborne, Chaka Khan, Terry Bradshaw, all sorts of folks. But last night brought the absolute most surreal moment of television I've ever witnessed in my entire life. If you watch and haven't seen the latest show don't read this. Seriously, it will ruin the whole show if you know this going in.

Highlight: Sarah Palin covering Sir Mix-a-lot. In a bear costume. And crushing it.

Funniest part? One of the judges guessed it was Tina Fey. Head comes off for the reveal and another judge goes, "IT IS TINA FEY!" But it was legit Sarah Palin. The judges were left going, "What is this show?" While we were left with the

In the current state of the world there's a lot of weird shit going on. But this was so fucked up weird I actually started crying from the shear weight of the absurdity.

Started "Dave" on FX. Awkward as f but hilarious. Provided you are into the tale of a young jewish boy making his way in the era of mumble rap  Dave (Lil' Dicky as the kids call him  ) does a great job playing, well; his neurotic self. Not sure how long of a run this story can be carried but the first 3 episodes were great. Kind of a suburban take on Atlanta (if the main character was the rapper versus the aspiring manager).

Avenue 5 finished up its first season with a bang. There were some rough early episodes, but man did they ramp up quickly after that. Holy fuck, some of the zingers and one liners.

Like:
Poor Octopus
eight arms, but no hands
Fuck you, god.

The delivery of those lines was spot-on perfect. So absurd.

I'm actually looking forward to next season now.

West World's new season kicked off with a jump. Gawd damn. Delores constantly strutting around in the tightest, miniest skirts she can find didn't hurt none. Lord.

I want that motorcycle.

Got Better Call Saul's latest in the hopper for tonight. Should be some serious shit about to go down after the setup episodes. :thu:

Was just going back over Shorsey quotes from Letterkenny. He's so god damned stupidly funny. This exchange with the hockey bros kills me every time:

Jonesy, Reilly: Greatest all round player in the history of the show, Mr. Hockey.

Shoresy: Gretz is the best player in the history of the show. Give your balls a tug.

Reilly: Gretz is the best.

Jonesy: We didn't mean any disrespect to 99.

Reilly: We said Gordie Howe was the best all-round player.

Shoresy: Gretz holds or shares 61 records in the show, you piece of shit. Don't nickel and dime the Great One.

Jonesy: But Mr. Hockey...

Shoresy: Suck my Mr. Cocky, you fucking loser.

Or when they finally show him skating and he's practically dancing across the ice. The other guys keep going, "WHO SKATES LIKE THAT?" Gotta think that scene took a few practice runs to nail.

"Hey Jonesy, tell your mom to pick up Riley’s mom on her way over. I double booked them by mistake."

That show is fucking brutal funny. And everything moves so fast you can't take time to laugh at it or you'll miss like three punchlines.

Agreed. This show is hilarious.

"Should we be scared?'
This is a safe space, emotionally. Physically, we're obviously in terrible danger."

"Classic Jesus. You mess with his money he fucks you right up."

There were some lulz, but not much fireworks until the very end. I enjoyed the Jesus wall and the contaminated soil routines. Jimmy's antics are escalating, and something's bound to happen with what their planning at some point.

Watched the first three Devs. That shit is fucky. I'm guessing for the main dude it's all about getting to see his daughter again, but trying to project backwards with a quantum computer that actually works could be a HUGE scientific breakthrough. Think of the questions you could answer.

"Step one, create a humanity changing new technology. Step two, use it for porn."

Damn right, bitch. Now shut up, we're watching Marilyn Monroe bang a bro.

Justified is such a great show. I keep meaning to read the book it was based on, but never seem to remember when I'm looking to start something new.

Outsider goes super slow, then ramps up until the last couple episodes are just a circus of wild shit.

EDIT: Forgot to mention Motherland: Fort Salem.
It's basically teen witches in training to become militarized. All female of course, because boys are icky. One episode in and we've already had our first lesbian scene.

Some of the weird mass suicide shit is creepy as fuck. It's an interesting premise. Hopefully they keep it interesting and don't devolve completely to teen drama bullshit. A little of that goes a long way. A lot of it goes *CLICK* on the remote.

So we watched it all yesterday :fap:

Good slow burn indeed. HBO makes such dour dramas. Like, it's eithr balls to the wall humor or somber as fuck drama. No mixing tones together.

Outsider didn't feel like Stephen King story at first but definitely went as you would expect for me by the end. If you know how King works; you can predict how the shit will play out. One quibble I almost got myself stuck on was Holly saying "Who's Terry" at the end. I thought she was on track to be the new Cuco. But then that didn't happen so either was tired by that time and missing something or it was just a last minute red herring going nowhere. Ben Mendelsohn (sp?) is always great.

I saw the preview for that witches show. Like a bazillion times
