Converting High Plate V Tube Pedal To Amp
I am trying to understand the mechanics of turning a 2 channel tube pedal that uses 10.4w and a standard 12v supply into a miniature head. I will need to amplify a line level signal to 15 or 20w. What must I need to divert the 10.4v of 120v from the power going to the amplifier and transformer? And what will I need to amplify the line level signal to 15 or 20w? (I am probably showing my lack of knowledge saying that).

You'd be much better off buying something like an ehx caliber 22. What you're talking about doing isn't easy and very well will not be possible with what you have. The transformer almost certainly won't have a sufficient VA rating to do what you're asking of it and without being rude, you sound like you don't know what you're doing. If you want to learn about tube amps read this:

SS is the devil unless you have a good EE background and the capacity to make your own high quality PCBs.
Ultimately what do you want to achieve here?

Re: Converting High Plate V Tube Pedal To Amp
I want to know what it would take to build a unit that can amplify the output from a boutique tube preamp pedal. Basically, I want a series of parts nearly identical to the power section of an amp, simply the ones that amplify a signal. The idea is to skip using the preamp of any other amp and building a permanent one for a tube pedal, making it a head, or something similar. Is there really no way to build an amp to amplify a line level signal to 20w?

Okay so you want to build a separate tube poweramp is what you're saying? Sure, that is easy enough and there are lots of solid designs out there. My advice would be to read the P1 document I linked you to and then read everything here:

If you're in the states consider using the classic tone transformers. They are cheap and of excellent quality. I'd use them myself but the shipping and import tax cost kills the deal.
